Keeping Stittsville Safe – An Open Discussion on Crime

discussion

We are fortunate to live in the great community of Stittsville which provides residents with a safe community to live, work and play.  However, there do continue to be incidents of vandalism and petty crime which are very upsetting to residents and creates an negative environment in the place we call home.

I am inviting to residents to join me for an open discussion on crime in the community.  This evening will provide residents with an opportunity to meet our new Community Police Officer Constable Phong Le and learn how we can prevent crime in our community and how we can continue to keep Stittsville safe.

7:00 p.m. Open Discussion – Questions from Residents
Goulbourn Recreation Complex, Hall A
1500 Shea Road, Stittsville

As the saying goes ‘It takes a village to raise a child’ and if we want to continue to have a safe community for our families, our neighbours and ourselves we all need to take an active role in crime prevention. The evening will provide residents with an opportunity to ask questions directly to the Police and Neighbourhood Watch and hear how residents can help to keep the community safe.    Following the question session residents will also have an opportunity to speak one and one with staff.

If you are unable to attend the meeting you can also tweet your questions via my twitter @shadqadri and I will raise your questions at the meeting and a summary will be provided following the meeting.
